Wellbeing Hypnotherapy

Meet the Longlands - Digby, George, Newt & Aggie

About Me

George Longland

Since studying for my Certificate and Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy back in 2004 with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, I have welcomed hundreds of clients through the doors of various clinics. These days I prefer to practice from my happy little home in Alton, Hampshire and love the added energy that a positive environment (and two happy guinea pigs) can give to therapy.

I have all sorts of qualifications (listed below), am fully insured and am registered with the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

I am mum to three feral offspring and birthed all of them calmly using only hypnosis - two at home and one in a car (yes, really! we were even on the telly an' everything). I love dancing, running (although snails have been known to overtake me), shamanism and am a very happy animal-loving vegan. I love anything that supports women to flourish and humans to care for each other, and the planet we live on.

I try to be as flexible financially as I can so that the people that need hypnotherapy can access it. I don't aspire to be a rich hypnotherapist, I want to be a happy person.

Have a chat. You just never know...

I am an Associate member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and can be found on the national database of Clinical Hypnotherapists.

I have undertaken countless training courses including (but not limited to) working with children, fertility, childbirth, weight management, smoking cessation and shamanism for therapeutic practitioners.

My working life began in the Arts sector and after many years running drama courses, managing arts projects for a local authority and setting up family festivals in a theatre, I made the move to become a full time Clinical Hypnotherapist. I qualified with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis in 2004 and balanced my arts and therapy careers until becoming a full time Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2017; I am nothing if not cautious.
